In our region, there are approximately 700 plants that are attractive to bees. The composition of meadow honey changes depending on the plants that are currently blooming. Our meadow honey is collected after the flowering of acacias in the Celebi forest, it contains the nectar of pine, wild tobacco and various meadow flowers. Meadow honeys are richer than mono honeys, which is more favorable from a medical point of view. As it contains the nectar of various flowers and medicinal plants, the honey itself is more effective than other honeys. The content of fructose compared to glucose is higher, so it crystallizes quickly (from 1 to 2-3 months depending on the composition of various nectars). People with a sensitive stomach can also consume it.
In addition to strengthening the body’s immune system, other beneficial effects of meadow honey are as follows:
– has a beneficial effect on the liver and heart,
– increases the level of hemoglobin in the blood,
– keep the digestion process in balance,
– reduces mental and physical fatigue and
– helps to heal wounds (scratches, scars).
It is recommended to consume it with a spoon (women 1-2 spoons, men up to 3 spoons per day), in teas and for external use (smear the wound with honey, but do not put a bandage on it and must not apply it to an open wound.)
