Description
Our bees collect acacia honey in the acacia forest in Kelelebia in the first weeks of May depending on the acacia flowering. Acacia honey has a neutral taste, light color, from yellow, greenish-yellow to slightly green. The glucose content compared to fructose is significantly lower than other honeys, so it will be difficult to crystallize and will remain in a liquid state for a long time, approximately up to 1 year or longer, depending on whether it contains a small amount of nectar from other flowers in addition to acacia nectar. It contains a lot of nectar and a little pollen, so even those who are allergic to pollen can try it. The value of acacia honey is contributed by the characteristic that out of the total 11 types of sugar contained in honey, acacia honey contains 10 types. Consumption in any form is recommended. On its own with a spoon, in drinks: teas, coffee, milk (the liquid must not be hotter than 33 degrees when adding honey), spread on bread alone or with a combination of butter, on pancakes, cakes and in Chinese cuisine for sweet and sour dishes. It is especially recommended for reducing stomach problems with digestion and for reducing stomach acid, because it has a mild chemical composition.
It is also excellent for external use to treat burns, scratches, but it should not be applied to an open wound.
We can also use it in cosmetics to make various packages and for massage.
Keep at room temperature up to 23-25 degrees.
